Underwater Maternity Photography, Michigan maternity photographer

When I decided that I wanted to add underwater maternity photos to my clients, I wanted to make art with my clients who loved the water.  I wanted each mom to feel like she was floating, comfortable, warm.  Most of all, I want each mom to have fun in the water.  This blog is from my first underwater maternity session with Crystal. Each of my underwater maternity sessions is scheduled for a 2-hour time slot.  We photograph the session at Rocky Mountain Divers in Lakewood, Colorado.  The pool is a saline pool, so it's easier on your eyes, which allows you to go underwater and open them during shots. The pool is set around 98 degrees, so that it's comfortable and warm to swim in.

Take a minute to check out a few of my favorite maternity photos from Crystal's session.

During each session, it takes a little while to get used to submerging yourself under the water and looking good.  With some practice and my techniques, you'll learn quickly and we'll capture those underwater photos you've been dreaming of.
